October in Fuquay-Varina is a special month -- listening, connection, reflection, and a vibrant local culture. Our town comes alive with festivals, concerts and family traditions that make this season unforgettable. Here's where you can join in as Mayor Massengill is out and about engaged with neighbors and businesses across town.


  • October 2: Celebrate Fuquay-Varina Thursday Concert

  • October 4: Celebrate Fuquay-Varina Booth (Main Street), 10–3 PM

  • October 6: Town Board Meeting

  • October 8: Business Exchange Breakfast

  • October 8: Bowling Road Elementary School Ribbon Cutting

  • October 11: 1st Annual Awards Banquet for Police Officers

  • October 14: JT's Creamery Ribbon Cutting with the Fuquay-Varina Chamber

  • October 14: Speak at the FVHS Cultural Fair

  • October 15: Friends with Wisdom (morning coffee with seniors)

  • October 15: CAMPO Executive Committee Meeting

  • October 16: Fuquay-Varina Chamber After Hours

  • October 18: Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Haunted Trail

  • October 23: FM2FV Concert Series – North Tower, 6:30–9:30 PM

  • October 24: Fuquay-Varina Downtown Association Trick or Treat Downtown

  • October 25: Workout with the Mayor at Triangle CrossFit, 8:30 AM

  • October 26: The Healthy Spot Meet and Greet
